Sonar Fort
Jaisalmer Fort, also known
as Sonar's Fort by the local people is included in the world's largest fort,
this fort was built in 1156 by Raja Rao Jaysal Singh, Jaisalmer's name is also

Bada Bagh
The construction of this
huge garden or Bada Bagh was started by Maharawal Jait Singh in the 16th
century, which his son Lunkaran completed after his death. It is famous for its
6 short walks away from Jaisalmer which is frequented by tourists who come to
see the various chatters or royal Xenophanes present here. It was built as a
memorial where the royal family is cremated. If you want to see the sunrise and
the view of the spring, then from this place you will see a wonderful view,

Jain Temple
The Jain temple is
situated inside the Jaisalmer fort. The total number of them is 7, they have
been constructed between the 15th century and the 16th century. All the temples
are built with golden sand Jaisalmer stone. The temple is dedicated to Jain
pilgrims. This temple is second to the architecture after the Dilwara Jain temple.
The largest temple known is that of Parshwanath and with its impressive

Slim Singh Haveli
This Haveli is situated
in the center of the city near Jaisalmer railway station. It was named after
Salim Singh Mahto, the owner of the mansion. Salim Singh was the then Prime
Minister of the princely state of Jaisalmer. It is famous for its wistful and
eye-catching architecture, it has its own unique style of architecture, it has a peacock-shaped roof and 38 balconies, one of its parts still resides in the
family of Salim Singh, this mansion presents the old past to us. This photo is

Kuldhara Jaisalmer

Kuldhara is a village 18
km from Jaisalmer which was once occupied by the Paliwal Brahmins. But due to

were not in favor of it, then the minister threatened the people to bear the
consequences of this, due to this, the Brahmins thought it better to leave the

Gadisar Lake is situated
1 km away from the fort, the people of the village fulfill their water supply
